The M800 uses a unique method to monitor the signals from the wheel sensors as voltage and resistance measurements. This is accomplished initially without the need to jack up the vehicle. Wheel sensors are the most common cause of ABS malfunction and the M800 gives an immediate indication if there is a problem.
