The two-wheel drive version came with independent front suspension and rear trailing arms, both with coil springs. The four-wheel drive version had a solid front axle and used leaf springs front and rear. Both versions used drum brakes at all four corners until 1971, when the entire GM light truck line got standard front discs. A tachometer was optional. [4]

As you can see the interior is clean, the head liners is nice, as is the carpet.  This truck also features the bullet proof Dana 60 front straight axle, with the Sterling limited slip rear axle with gears.  The exhaust is sound, the brakes are nice, and the suspension is tight.  It has stock sized tires with enough tread to get it through the summer.

Although the 2005 Chevrolet Corvette has the most overall complaints, we rate the 2008 model year as worse because of other possible factors such as higher repair cost or more problems at lower mileage. The most-reported problem is with the 2008 Chevrolet Corvette for strong fuel odor .
